Every LEGO Ideas set retiring in 2023 and beyond – February update
Just four LEGO Ideas sets are now scheduled to retire in 2023, as the LEGO Group has delayed the departure of 21329 Fender Stratocaster.
That’s the only change to the list of retiring LEGO Ideas sets for February, which otherwise involves a quartet of crowdsourced products leaving shelves by the end of 2023: 21325 Medieval Blacksmith, 21326 Winnie the Pooh, 21331 Sonic the Hedgehog – Green Hill Zone and 21337 Table Football. It’s a swift exit for the latter set, which only arrived on shelves in November, and is already available for 40% off at LEGO.com.
It’s no real surprise to see that set on the way out, and Sonic’s retirement makes sense too amid rumours of a full video game theme coming this summer. But we’re slightly surprised to see 21325 Medieval Blacksmith being shown the door, especially while older sets like 21318 Tree House and 21323 Grand Piano will remain on shelves into 2024.
This year’s first LEGO Ideas set, 21338 A-Frame Cabin, has also joined the list this month – but you’ve got plenty of time to cop that one, as it’s not due to retire until the end of 2025. Check out the list in full below, and remember that retiring sets can (and will) sell out in the weeks and months leading up to the dates listed here.

- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
