LEGO Star Wars designers signing new sets for May the 4th

A series of LEGO Star Wars designer signing events are set to take place across Europe during the upcoming May the 4th weekend.

At least five new LEGO Star Wars sets are due to launch on May 1, as the LEGO Group kicks off its annual celebrations of Star Wars Day (or May the 4th). Among those are two new additions to the LEGO Star Wars Diorama Collection in 75352 Emperor’s Throne Room Diorama and 75353 Endor Speeder Chase Diorama, available for £69.99 / $79.99 / €79.99 and £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99 respectively.

If you’re looking to pick up one or either of those sets as soon as they’re released, and are in the vicinity of selected LEGO Stores across Europe, you might be interested in one of three designer signing events happening across the May the 4th weekend. The designers of the new dioramas will be signing copies of their respective sets on the following dates:

Jme Wheeler is the man behind 75353 Endor Speeder Chase Diorama, while Jackson Hughes was responsible for 75352 Emperor’s Throne Room Diorama. Both sets are designed to celebrate Return of the Jedi’s 40th anniversary, and come complete with a printed plaque commemorating the milestone.
